Allowing them to reunite with their children is not just a policy decision—it is an acknowledgment of their unwavering love and sacrifice. When separated from their children and grandchildren, elderly parents face profound loneliness and emotional pain. The joy of being together with family can alleviate this anguish, offering them the emotional support they so desperately need. Reuniting families isn't merely a convenience—it's a lifeline. It offers a sense of belonging and purpose, contributing to their mental and emotional well-being. The bonds of family are irreplaceable, and being with loved ones is essential to maintaining happiness and dignity in their later years. Families are often better equipped to care for their elderly parents with personalized support—physical, emotional, and even medical care—much more effectively than external services. Moreover, elderly parents can provide invaluable support in other ways. They can help with household chores, childcare, and pass down knowledge and traditions, easing the burden on younger family members and enriching the family's overall dynamic.
